Summer Holiday – Check

Today, I finally bit the bullet and booked my summer holiday.   I am going to Sabhal Mòr Ostaig for a one week Gaelic course, as an introduction to the college, since I am intending to do their distance course starting in September 2013.

I have absolutely no idea how I am to get to Sabhal Mòr Ostaig, situated on the Isle of Sky, as the logistics of travelling there are horrendous.   Even so, I am looking forward to it.

  1. I went to Skye two years ago – we drove through Scotland and camped in various places. It’s the most beautiful area. Have a great time!

  2. This will be my third visit to Skye, but the first where I have to find my own transport. I’m looking forward to the Gàidhlig though. I have seen a job advertised in Aberdeen, which would be great, if the rents were lower. Aberdeen has better access to Gàidhlig than where I am now.
