Administrative Professionals Day

It was Administrative Professionals’ Day today, (formerly known as secretaries’ day) and we got a nice email, a free meal and a box of chocolates.   Its always nice to be remembered.

On another note, I was speaking to Neil, who runs Megalithic Tours, this evening and he has informed me that there are still a few remaining spaces on his summer tours.   This is highly unusual as they are usually booked in advance.  So, if you’re reading this blog and you have an interest in doing taking a holiday tour that incorporates history, archaeology and mystery and you want to visit ancient sites, then go to the Megalithic Tours and see what’s on offer.   Upcoming tours include:  Northern France, Brittany and Carnac, Ireland, Cathar Country, Devon & Cornwall, Orkney and Shetland (which I highly recommend), Wales and the Scottish West Coast Highlands and Islands.

Megalithic Tours also offer shorter tours of 1, 2, 3 and 4 days to various destinations, including exclusive private access to Stonehenge at sunset.   I cannot recommend Neil and Megalithic Tours enough.    Very reasonably priced, well organised, with small groups (no more than 11)  and a tour guide who knows his stuff.    So, why not do something different, and wonderful this year?
